Biography

Nick Lyon is a director writer or a producer who was born in Idaho and somehow, 20 cities and two countries later made it to the Hollywood district of Portland, Oregon.

At the age of 21, Nick left Portland, Oregon and flew to Germany where he attended the Film Academy Baden-Wurtemburg in Ludwigsburg. Here he earned a four-year diploma in film directing. Among the short films that Nick directed during his Film Academy stay was his award winning "Hilda Humphrey".

After graduating film school, Nick went on to direct Academy Award winner Maximilian Schell, in "I Love You, Baby", a neo-noir thriller produced by Warner Bros. Germany.

Homesick for his rainy hometown of Portland, Oregon, Nick left Germany and returned home, where he finished his second feature, "Punk Love".
